Mark Feng TENG Personal Homepage

Mark Teng is an associate professor in Applied Linguistics at Macao Polytechnic University. He received education in Japan, Mainland China, Australia, and Hong Kong. His main focus is on L2 vocabulary learning, reading and writing. In terms of teaching, Mark has extensive experiences in language teaching and training pre-service teachers, especially in using GenAI in recent years. 

 

Mark performs well in teaching and research. Students were of different ages and nationality backgrounds: Malaysia, Greek, Thailand, Japan, Mainland China, Vietnam, Hong Kong, etc. He was the recipient of the 2017 Best Paper Award from the Hong Kong Association for Applied Linguistics (HAAL), as well as the Teaching Excellence Awards by the Education Bureau of China (2015). His published work has appeared in many international journals. His recent monographs were published by Cambridge, Springer, Routledge, and Bloomsbury. His co-edited volume appeared in Palgrave and De Gruyter Mouton. He has also guested edited several special issues for international journals.
